Theft

  • Seth Swearingen, 23, of San Jose, July 22, 4:30 p.m., at Sterling and Greenleaf in Cupertino, for misdemeanor re-arrest for probation violation and theft of personal property. Bail set at $10,000.

Utility Service Diversion

  • Sabrina Barnes, 34, of Cupertino, June 12, 3 p.m., at 10177 Mission Way in Cupertino, for misdemeanor diversion of electrical, gas, or water utility services to avoid paying.

  • Sean Lindly, 46, of San Jose, July 22, 9:20 p.m., at Prospect and Saratoga-Sunnyvale roads in Saratoga, for misdemeanor obstruction of justice, unlawful/malicious removal of wireless communication device to prevent summoning assistance or notify law enforcement, vandalism of more than $50,000; felony threats to commit crime resulting in injury, re-arrest for probation violation, first-degree burglary and attempt to commit the crime of extortion.

Illegal Entry

  • Ismael Dominguez, 33, of Gilroy, July 17, 12:56 a.m., at Highway 101 and Monterey Road in Gilroy, for misdemeanor entry of noncommercial dwelling.
  • Samantha Sanchez, 29, of Gilroy, July 24, 5:50 a.m., at 5929 Frasier Lake in Gilroy, for misdemeanor entry of noncommercial dwelling.

  • John Borra, 38, of Gilroy, July 23, 10:44 a.m., at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for felony probation violation.

Battery/Prowling

  • Joshua Leahy, 30, of Los Gatos, July 23, 10:45 a.m., at San Francisco County Jail, for misdemeanor using/being under the influence of a controlled substance, battery and prowling.

DUI

  • Dan Davila, 26, of San Jose, July 23, 9:50 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto, 270 Grant Ave., for misdemeanor DUI and driving with privileges suspended or revoked and driving under the influence. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Juan Gonzalez, 31, of Sunnyvale, July 23, 11 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto, 270 Grant Ave., for DUI.
  • Jason Lee, 19, of Cupertino, July 24, 8 a.m., at 10410 Miller Ave. in Cupertino, for DUI and driving under the influence. Bail set at $25,000.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Efrain Zamora, 44, of Redwood City, July 23, 11 a.m., at Grant and Birch in Palo Alto, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Possession

  • Jose Buenrostro, 33, of East Palo Alto, July 23, 9:40 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto, 270 Grant Ave., for felony possession of marijuana/hash for sale, giving/selling/transporting 28.5 grams or an ounce of marijuana, carrying a firearm on person or vehicle, carrying concealed weapon in vehicle, possesion of ammunition and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Bail set at $50,000.
  • Calloway Roller, 31, of Morgan Hill, July 23, 11:30 a.m., at the South County Courthouse, 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for felony possession of narcotics/controlled substance.

Hit-And-Run

  • Susan Dunn, 57, of Saratoga, July 23, 2:20 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Trespassing

  • Jackie Pena, 19, of Gilroy, July 23, 9 a.m., at the South County Courthouse, 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for misdemeanor trespassing/refusing to leave public building and being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $6,250.

Burglary

  • Dung Dao, 45, of San Jose, July 23, 2:30 p.m., at Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Blauer in Saratoga, for first-degree felony, robbery, re-arrest for probation violation and misdemeanor giving false name to a peace officer.
  • George Martinez, of East Palo Alto, July 24, 1:30 p.m., at Mule Creek State Prison, for felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer, possession of burglary tools and prowling.

Illegal Possession of Firearm

  • Cameron Colson, 42, of Campbell, July 23, 5:57 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for owning or possessing a firearm while having a protective order against it.

Kidnapping/False Imprisonment

  • Juan Zaragoza, 39, of Gilroy, July 23, 9:50 p.m., at at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for misdemeanor violation of a protective order and felony false imprisonment with violence and kidnapping.

Under the Influence

  • Jeffrey Brainard, 58, a transient, July 23, 8 p.m., at Bollinger Road and Hyde Avenue inCupertino, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol/drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
