Sheriff's Arrests: Drug Crimes, Grand Theft

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office's arrest and booking reports for June 1-3, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Possession

  • Eduardo Velazquez, 27, of San Jose, June 1, 12:04 am., at Pruneridge Avenue and Wolfe Road in Cupertino, for possession of concentrated cannabis and giving, selling, transporting 28.5 grams or one ounce of marijuana. Bail set at $15,000.
  • Ricardo Pacheco, 23, of Gilroy, June 1, 4:30 p.m., at Imperial County Jail, for possession of controlled substance, possession, manufacturing or sale of illegal weapon, possession of controlled substance/paraphernalia and possession of narcotics/controlled substance.
  • Ricardo Medeiros, 29, a transient, June 1, 10:30 p.m., at Titus Avenue and Prospect Road in Saratoga, for possession of controlled substance, appropriation of lost property, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and re-arrest for probation violation.
  • Matthew Bolin, 18, of Cupertino, May 30, 1:45 a.m., at De Anza Boulevard and Bollinger Road in Cupertino, for possession of marijuana in vehicle.
  • Ruben Becerra Mendoza, 47, of Gilroy, June 2, 4:38 p.m., at Eigleberry and 6th streets in Gilroy, for possession of narcotics/controlled substance. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Luis Gonzalez, 21, of San Jose, June 3, 1:30 a.m., at Ronan Avenue and Church Street in Gilroy, for possession of narcotics/controlled substance. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Michelle Beemer, 28, of Saratoga, June 3, 7:20 a.m., at Blossom Hill Road and Snell Avenue in San Jose, for using/being under the influence.
  • Samuel Dolida, 19, of San Jose, June 3, 12:10 a.m., at Shoreview and El Camino Real in Mountain View, for possession of concentrated cannabis and re-arrest for probation violation.
  • Colleen Lujan Bridges, 31, of San Martin, June 3, at 13220 Lincoln Ave. in San Martin, for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
  • Veroica Buzenes, 43, of Campbell, June 3, 4:37 p.m., at Bascom Avenue and Southwest Expressway in San Jose, for using/being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance. Bail set at $40,000.
  • Phillip Lugea, 48, of San Jose, June 3, 10:58 p.m., at Tantau Avenue and Bollinger Road in Cupertino, for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance. Bail set at $250.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Carlos Vargas, 20, of Morgan Hill, June 3, 12:20 a.m., at Monterey and Day roads in Gilroy, for driving while unlicensed, unsafe lane change and giving false ID to police officer. Bail set at $3,000.
  • Alexander Hill, 45, of Gilroy, May 29, 10:55 p.m., at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Longmeadow Drive in Gilroy, for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, exceeding 65 mph speed limit and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

  • Lawrence Siegfried, 52, of Gilroy, June 1, 1:10 a.m., at Wren Avenue and 1st Street in Gilroy, for trespassing and assault and battery. Bail set at $12,000.
  • Ladi Velasco, 61, of Cupertino, June 1, 6:59 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for battery.

Grant Theft

Miroslawa Gougoulis, 62, of San Jose, June 1, 3:59 p.m., at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stelling Road in Cupertino, for grand theft. Bail set at $10,000.

Petty Theft/Burglary

  • Reza Rahimian, 33, of San Jose, June 1, 4:30 p.m., at Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, for petty theft with specific priors, first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and petty theft with three or more priors. Bail set at $115,000.
  • Michael Ruffin, 34, of Milpitas, June 3, 8:45 a.m., at 6290 Santa Teresa Blvd. in San Jose, for battery, prowling and attempted petty theft. Bail set at $5,000.

Hit-And-Run

Eva Rico, 38, of San Jose, May 8, 12:01 a.m., at 19634 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, for hit-and-run.

Obstruction of Justice

Atanacio Serriteno, 22, of Watsonville, June 3, 3:20 p.m., at Pole Line and Mt. Madonna roads in Gilroy, for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer. Bail set at $1,000.
