Driving With Privileges Suspended

  • Diego Perez, 25, of San Jose, 11:55 p.m., at Big Basin and Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, was rearrested for probation violation, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and felony possession of a narcotics/controlled substance.
  • Liborio Grima, 39, of San Jose, 8:30 p.m., at Lawrence Expressway and Highway 280 in San Jose, for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility for vehicle and misdemeanor citation for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Dung Ngo, 33, of San Jose, 3:25 p.m., at 5730 Holland Ln. in San Jose, for three warrant misdemeanors related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked and a suspended license.
  • Jenny Carranza, 45, of San Jose, 9:45 a.m., Santa Clara County Superior Court Hall of Justice Dept. 42, 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for two misdemeanors related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Salvador Diaz, 41, of San Leandro, 9:45 a.m., Santa Rita/Alameda County, for a warrant misdemeanor related to driving with a suspended license.

Possession

  • Bel Adeh, 34, of San Jose, 12:30 a.m., at Moorpark and College avenues in San Jose, for misdemeanor unlawful possession of paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail set at $11,000.
  • Ryan Tougas, 19, of Santa Clara, 10:22 a.m., at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for felony possession of marijuana/hash for sale. Bail set at $7,500.
  • William Hatter, 28, of Newark, 9:45 a.m., at Santa Rita County Jail, for two warrant misdemeanors related to using/being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

DUI

Jose Perez, 24, of San Jose, 9:50 a.m., Santa Rita in Alameda County, for two warrant misdemeanors related to driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Robbery

Roger Perez, 19, of Fremont, 8 a.m., San Quentin State Prison, for two felonies related to second-degree robbery and proceedings in which prisoner may be brought before any court to be tried for a felony.

Petty Theft

  • Stacy Quezada, 24, of Gilroy, 3:34 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for a misdemeanor warrant related to petty theft of personal property/larceny. 
  • Gregory Salarzon, 50, of San Jose, 10:15 a.m., at Tasman Drive and Bay Pointe in San Jose, for a misdemeanor warrant related to petty theft.

Using Wireless Telephone Device While Driving

Gary Olivas, 50, of San Jose, 6 a.m., at 2410 Senter Road in San Jose, for using wireless telephone device while driving, a misdemeanor warrant for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and failing to provide financial responsibility for the vehicle. Bail set at $5,000.

Embezzlement

Stevisha Taylor, 28, of San Jose, 9:25 a.m., at 190 W. Hedding St. and San Pedro Street in San Jose, for felony embezzlement by public or private employee.

Assault With Deadly Weapon

Abran Sanchez, 67, of San Jose, 10 a.m., at 190 W. Hedding St., for felony assault with a deadly weapon.

Education Code Violation

Laura Torres, 18, of Santa Clara, 12:25 p.m., at No. 1st Street and Sonora Avenue in San Jose, for a warrant misdemeanor in violation of rules and regulations of buildings related to the California Education Code.

Prostitution

China Hernandez, 21, of San Jose, 10:15 a.m., at San Carlos and 1st streets in San Jose, for six felony and misdemeanor warrants related to loitering with intent to commit prostitution, disorderly conduct: prostitution, vandalism $50,000 or more, grand theft of personal property and loitering about an adult school.

Under the Influence

Stanley Saso, 57, a transient from San Jose, 11:30 a.m., at No. Jackson Avenue and McKee Road in San Jose, for a misdemeanor related to being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance. Bail set at $250.

Evasion of Payment

David Whitehead, 49, of Livermore, 9:45 a.m., at Santa Rita County Jail, for a misdemeanor related to evasion of payment or fare. Bail set at $10,000.
