Karen Garlock, 26, 1:20 p.m., April 3, of Santa Rosa, at the Sonoma County Jail, for a felony warrant for grand theft of personal property.

Criminal Threats, Vandalism

Maurice Green, 27, 12:20 p.m., April 3, of San Francisco, at San Mateo County Jail, for two felony warrants for making threats to commit crime and one misdemeanor warrant for vandalism damages estimated at less than $400. Bail set at $45,000.

Burglary

Miguel Mendozapena, 21, 10:15 a.m., April 3, of Palo Alto, at 270 Grant Ave. in Palo Alto, for felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $200,000.

Domestic Violence/Grand Theft

Mario Velasquez, 39, April 3, 12:20 p.m., of Redwood City, at the San Mateo County Jail, for two felony warrants related to inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and grand theft.

False Personification/Driving With Privileges Suspended/Revoked

Rojean Garrett, 69, April 3, 12:03 p.m., of San Jose, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for one felony warrant related to false personation exposing the victim and a misdemeanor warrant for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Burglary

Jonathan Perezviveros, 33, April 3, 3 p.m., of San Jose, at 1601 S. DeAnza Blvd. in Cupertino, for a felony first-degree burglary.

Robbery

Todd Miller, 53, April 3, 1:45 p.m., of San Jose, for felony second-degree robbery.

Contempt of Court

Allie Thomas, 56, April 3, 2:45 p.m., of Oakland, at the Santa Rosa Jail in Alameda County for civil misconduct/contempt of court. Bail set at $100,000.

Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance

Richard Sarallo, 44, April 3, 3:15 p.m., of Sunnyvale, at 115 Terraine and St. John St. in San Jose, for using/being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Burglary

Marco Gutierrez, 38, April 3, 12:20 p.m., of Sunnyvale, for two felony warrants of second-degree burglary and one felony warrant for attempted second-degree burglary. Bail set at $200,000.

Fraud

Richard Malupo, 28, April 3, 6:20 p.m., of San Jose, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave., in San Jose, for presenting false or fraudulent insurance.

False Name/Possession of SAPS Weapon

Milton Garcia, 22, April 3, 6:15 p.m., of Gilroy, at Stevens Creek Boulevard and and Montebello in Cupertino, for giving false name to a peace officer, possession of a SAPS and similar weapon and probation violation.

Battery

Nicholas Vitols, 29, April 3, 6:20 p.m., of Cupertino, at 10594 Felton Way in Cupertino, for misdemeanor battery on former spouse/fiance. Bail set at $5,000.

Battery/Attempted Robbery/Dissuading Witness

Doreman Hall, 49, April 3, 7:20 p.m., of San Jose, at Capitol Expressway and McKee Road, for one misdemeanor warrant for battery against spouse/cohabitant or fiance and two felony warrants for attempted second-degree robbery and dissuading witness/victim from reporting the crime or testifying about the crime. Bail set at $100,000.

Disorderly Conduct/Prostitution/Unlawful Sexual Intercourse

Jordan Caldwell, 21, April 3, 8:09 p.m., of San Jose, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for misdemeanor disorderly conduct/prostitution and felony unlawful sexual intercourse.

Corporal Punishment/Injury of Child

Granger Threatt, 35, April 3, 8:32 p.m., of San Martin, at 1490 Dias Drive in San Martin, for felony corporal punishment/injury of a child.

Driving With Privileges Suspended/Revoked, Possession

Richard Arteaga, 35, April 3, 9:10 p.m., of San Jose, at Park and Hancett in San Jose, for three misdemeanor warrants related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked and using or being under the influence of a controlled substance and three felonies for possession of a SAPS or similar weapons and possession of narcotics/controlled substance. Bail set at $32,000.

Felony DUI

William Murray, 58, April 3, 8:25 p.m., of Cupertino, at Prospect Road and Titas Avenue, in Saratoga, for felony DUI and causing bodily injury to another. Bail set at $25,000.

Timothy Timmerman, 33, April 3, 10:30 p.m., of San Jose, at 2nd St. and Paseo de San Antonio in San Jose, for a misdemeanor for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.

Vehicle Code Violations

Tyrone Zimmerman, 28, April 3, 1:50 p.m., of San Jose, at Stevens Creek at Perimeter Road in Cupertino, for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility for vehicle, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and having no stop lights in vehicle.

Assault/Battery

Alireza Mirzamani, 52, April 3, 11:15 p.m., of San Jose, at 10050 No. De Anza Blvd. in Cupertino, for assault and battery.

Possession

Danny Rosas, 28, April 3, 10:40 a.m., of Oxnard, at Prospect Road and Johnson Avenue in Saratoga, for possession of marijuana in vehicle.

Vehicle Code Violations

Lenny Indalecio, 52, April 3, 9:24 a.m., of San Jose, at Prospect Road and Galway Drive in Saratoga, for failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility for vehicle, unlawful registration, driving with license suspended or revoked, and failure to display license plates.

Also, it would take some work but couldn't the books be divided up and put into the classrooms? OrRead More is it because they were bought as library books with the library grant they have to stay in the library. It will be very embarrassing to tell book vendors that Luigi Aprea does not have a library anymore.

I don't know why the parents club can't run the library. They would have to be trained with theRead More computer library program but I'm sure there would be parents that would be willing to do that. It is very sad that just because we can't hire a librarian that the students have to loose out. That does not seem fair to me. I thought the students were supposed to come first and not be denied services due to a budget shortfall. We were promised that the budget would not effect the classroom. I guess in this case the union is more powerful than necessary. So all those books are going to collect dust. How sad and unacceptable.

That this person actually thought this poor young girl had culpability for her attack is a symptom of our societies disregard for women. I'm actually glad he made the comment so we can look at and discuss the problem.

From one of the interviews I watched online, it seems that many Saratoga High students knew whatRead More happened at the party and had seen the pictures. How is it that arrests did not follow the assault and the suicide for over 6 months? Could it be that the students who knew information about the felony chose to remain silent? I hope that is not the case; we will surely find out as the details of the case are revealed in the media over the next weeks and months. In the meantime lets make sure we are teaching our kids about the responsibility of living in community and caring about others. God forbid that any of the students have to live with the knowledge that they could have prevented the suicide, or with the knowledge that they helped cover up such a heinous crime.
