UPDATE: Shots Fired in Unincorporated Area Near Gilroy

Sheriff's deputies are still investigating shooting that took place Saturday morning near Leavesley Road.

Sheriff's deputies in Santa Clara County are investigating a shooting that occurred in unincorporated Santa Clara County this morning, a sheriff's spokesman said.

The shooting apparently took place near Leavesley Road in an unincorporated area outside of Gilroy at about 9 a.m., Sgt. Jose Cardoza said.

No further details are immediately available.
