Suspect at Large After Bank Robbery

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the First Street Rabobank on Wednesday.

Gilroy police are investigating a Wednesday robbery at the First Street Rabobank after a suspect "took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area," according to a press release from the .

The suspect, described as a white male between 40-50 years old, reportedly entered into the bank at 761 First St. and demanded money from the tellers, police said.

Police received a call reporting the robbery around 3:30 p.m., according to the report.

Witnesses told police that the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, cargo shorts and tennis shoes, police said.
