Gilroy's Walmart Robbery Suspect May Have Hit Bakersfield

Gilroy Police have been working with other law enforcement agencies to find a man suspected of robbing Walmart stores in Gilroy, Paso Robles and Bakersfield.

A man who robbed Gilroy's Super Walmart on Dec. 28 is suspected of robbing other Walmarts in the cities of Paso Robles, Tracy and most recently, Bakersfield, according to a report from the Bakersfield Police Department.

The suspect in each robbery was a man under 6 feet tall dressed in sports attire and a baseball cap. The robberies in Gilroy, Paso Robles and Bakersfield were even conducted in the same manner.

During the most recent Walmart robbery in Bakersfield, which occurred on Feb. 1, the suspect entered the customer service department and handed the cashier a note demanding money—as he did during the Gilroy and Paso Robles Walmart robberies.
