Water Searches for Sierra LaMar Continue

Sheriff's dive teams plan to search Parkway Lakes, Anderson, Coyote, Almaden and Guadalupe reservoirs.

Water searches by Santa Clara County Sheriff’s dive team will resume this week in the southern portions of the county in its ongoing search for Sierra LaMar.

Early in the week police will check Parkway Lakes in south San Jose followed by Anderson, Coyote, Almaden and Guadalupe reservoirs located througout southern Santa Clara County. Police will again utilize the side scan sonar, which is able to detect objects below the surface of water.

Uvas and Chesboro reservoirs and other bodies of water in South County were checked in mid-April, but it is unclear if anything significant to Sierra’s disappearance was located.
