Weekend Crime: Pregnant Woman Attacks, Costco DVDs Stolen

May 12:

DUI: A woman hit a parked car and was then arrested for DUI on Monterey Street at 1:51 a.m.

Vehicle Theft: A car with an "Army Dad" bumper sticker was stolen from Chestnut Street at 12:20 p.m.

Resisting Arrest: Cesar Hugo Ruiz, 32, had been wanted but was found hiding in an attic on Kelton Drive at 6:16 p.m.

May 11:

Assault: A man was arrested for punching a security officer in the head after being kicked out of a bar on Monterey Street at 2 a.m. The officer then punched the man in the face, leaving him with major facial injuries.

Public Intoxication: Richard Cermeno, 57, fell on his face in the parking lot of Straw Hat Pizza and was arrested for being drunk in public at 12:57 p.m.

Assault: Richard Manuel Castaneda, 26, threw his girlfriend of three months to the ground and was arrested at 6 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary: About $350 of damage/stolen goods was done to a car on Mantelli Drive at 4:30 p.m.

Assault: A man was assaulted by his girlfriend, who is six months pregnant, on First Street at 10:55 p.m.

May 10:

Petty Theft: DVDs, socks and CDs were stolen from Costco at 12:30 p.m.

Child Abuse: Two parents were arrested when their Johnson Way home was declared uninhabitable for their 1-year-old at 10 a.m.

Petty Theft: Isaac Rodriguez, 20, was arrested for stealing an inflatable chair from Walmart at 9:51 p.m.
