Weekend Crime Report: No Car is Safe

There were nine vehicle incidents of either vehicle break-ins or thefts from Friday to Sunday in Gilroy.

Car-targeting criminals were abound in Gilroy over the weekend. From Friday to Sunday, there were five cars broken into and another four that were outright stolen in the city limits.

Other crimes in the same timespan included drunks in public, shoplifting and vandalism. See the full list, as reported by the Gilroy Police Department on CrimeReports.com, below:

Vehicle Theft: 7500 block, Rogers Lane, 11:42 a.m.

 

Saturday, Oct. 27:

Burglary: 6400 block, Poppyfield Street, 3:49 p.m.

Grand Theft: 6100 block, Monterey Street, 11:58 a.m.

Assault: 6700 block, Filbro Drive, 12:20 p.m.

Public Intoxication: 100 block, W Tenth Street, 8:56 p.m.

Vehicle Theft: Andover Place and Yorktown Drive, 1:49 a.m.

Petty Theft: 7100 block, Camino Arroyo, 7:07 p.m.

Assault: 7400 block, Monterey Street, 11:27 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary: 7600 block, Monterey Street, 7:55 a.m.

Public Intoxication: 900 block, First Street, 10:05 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary: 500 block, Adams Court, 1:50 p.m.

Vehicle Theft: 8300 block, Gaunt Avenue, 10:22 a.m.

Trespassing: 11900 block, Turlock Avenue, 2:01 p.m.

 

Sunday, Oct. 28:

Public Intoxication: 7300 block, Alexander Street, 1:47 p.m.

Vandalism: 700 block, first street, 7:51 a.m.

Petty Theft: 800 block, first street, 2:30 p.m.

Domestic Disturbance: 8100 block, Forest Street, 11:39 a.m.

Vehicle Theft: 8100 block, Church Street, 8:55 a.m.
