Woman Stopped For Driving on Wrong Side of Road Says She Failed Driving Test 10 Times

Tuesday

8:15 p.m. An unknown suspect broke the windows of two parked vehicles and took the car stereos on Monterey Street. 

4:58 p.m. There was a vehicle versus bicyclist collision on the intersection of Cumberland Drive and Miller Ave. The bicyclist was at fault for failing to yield to the right-of-way.

4:16 p.m. The victim reported the two salespeople at Kirby Merchandise fraudulently completed the sales contract for a Kirby vacuum that the victim didn’t wish to purchase. The victim has since received a bill for the purchase of the vacuum.

8:12 p.m. A vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the road on southbound Church Street in the northbound lane. The driver was stopped and found to be driving without a license. The driver stated she was unable to obtain a license because she failed the driving test ten times. The driver was cited and the vehicle was stored.

1:13 p.m. Raymond Salas, 45, broke the screen door to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and assaulted her and her adult daughter. He also violated a restraining order. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

6:07 a.m. A suspect defecated on the front doors to the wellness nutrition center. He was identified and admitted to the act. The case was sent to the DA’s for review.

Sunday

11 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the driverside window and removed the GPS unit.

Friday

5:30 p.m. An unknown suspect broke the front glass, entered the business on Wren Ave and consumed half a bottle of Crown Royal Whiskey taken from the main office. He may be associated with another break in.
