City Council Preview: 2011-12 Budget Review

The council will also motion to recognize the law enforcement agencies that participated in Operation Garlic Press.

The Gilroy City Council will be tackling several items during its 6 p.m. meeting on Monday.  

Under new business, the council will motion to adopt a resolution that recognizes the work of the law enforcement agencies that participated in .

The council will also give its first quarter budget review for the fiscal year 2011-2012.

The issue of within residential districts will also be revisited during Monday's meeting.

A few other items on tonight's agenda can be viewed, below.

  • The council will review an ordinance that was created to set regulations for chickens and rabbits in residential districts.
  • The Public Art Committee will give its annual presentation to the council.
  • On the consent calendar, the council will motion to approve the decommission and sale of the Gilroy Police Department's surplus firearms.
  • Under unfinished business, the council will motion to appoint one new member to the Development Standards Task Force.
