The candidates for the local November elections have been finalized.
The filing period for both the Gilroy City Council and Gilroy Mayor race officially closed after a five day extension, and according to Gilroy City Clerk Shawna Freels, the field of candidates is as posted below.
Gilroy City Council Candidates:

- Perry Woodward – Member, Gilroy City Council
- – Gilroy Planning Commissioner
- – Union Organizer
