2013 Teachers of the Year Named
One Gilroy Unified School District educator is among the honorees.

The Santa Clara County Office of Education will honor the top teachers in each school district or charter school at a celebration to be held Sept. 26 in Campbell.
The teachers are selected by their districts or schools. In addition to the Teachers of the Year, a smaller group of educators will be honored for their teaching in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).
Santa Clara County Office of Education Teachers of the Year 2013 include Gina Chekouras, a teacher at Glen View Elementary in Gilroy.
