After Break In Rains, Library Project is On Schedule

The city of Gilroy releases an update of the library construction project.

The fact that recent rains have primarily occurred on the weekends has allowed library construction to forge ahead, including the chance that some parts might be completed early, according to a report featured today on the city of Gilroy’s website.

The current "drying-in" phase could be completed ahead of schedule, according to the presentation.

After electrical work is completed later this month, crews will pour the concrete slab that will form the floor of the 53,000-square-foot building.
