Beginning Canning Workshop: Jams, Jellies, Preserves and Applesauce

One of the greatest breakfast joys is spreading a dab of homemade jam over a piece of hot toast—or is it jelly over a muffin? Or preserves over a scone? How about some applesauce with your yogurt? Whatever the answer is for you, we have the demo that will transform your favorite fruit into a delicious treat! We will cover the essentials of fruit selection, preparation and preservation methods (specifically waterbath canning), recipes, and proper sanitation.
