How to Grow Cool Season Vegetables in Santa Clara County

Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1:00pm-2:30pm. Joan Cloutier, a UCCE Master Gardener, will teach us how to plan our cool season vegetable garden. Learn how to successfully grow cool season vegetables in South Santa Clara County.  Topics covered will include selection of easy to grow varieties for gardens, best vegetables for containers, cultural requirements, and other growing tips. After the talk at the Granary, we will walk to the Morgan Hill Community Garden for a tour. The class will be held at the Granary, 17500 Depot Street, Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
