Gilroy Restaurants to Benefit Meals on Wheels
On Tuesday, 10 percent of proceeds from select restaurants will go toward providing warm meals for seniors.
Philanthropic diners, get ready.
If you eat at Ginger Cafe, or on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 10 percent of your bill will go toward the Meals on Wheels program in the Bay Area. Restaurants can still sign up to participate.
The program provides 3 million meals to more than 9,000 local seniors.
Nearly 200 restaurants in the Bay Area and 50 in Santa Clara County are joining in the effort. For a complete list of participating restaurants, check out the organization’s website at dineoutnow.org.
