Chrystal De La Torre started working @ Comcast when she was 19 years old (I met her there when theRead More call center first opened) Chrystal then left in 2007 to work @ the Campbell School District. She was a very sweet yet naïve and VERY pretty young girl, close to my own daughter's age. Within the 5 years I worked with her I saw her grow up & mature into a young woman. After a meeting @ Comcast - I went with friends to the crash site & saw flowers & other things people left there for her. It made me think ALLOT about how BLESSED we are & to warn our YOUNG PEOPLE (young & old) NOT to drive drunk, distracted, text messaging, using their cell phone without a "hands free" device, you name it, ANYTHING can cause an accident the minute you take your eyes off the road - BE CAREFUL!!! This hit me personally because of a similar situation (in my own family) in which 2 people I LOVE VERY MUCH – SURVIVED & ARE THRIVING - I THANK GOD EVERDAY THAT THEY ARE ALIVE & WELL - Sadly Chrystal's live is over on this earth, but I am sure she's in Heaven! My heart goes out to Chrystal’s parents, and family, I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE HOW THEY MUST FEEL… I know that they were very proud of their daughter & her accomplishments – even at such a young age, Chrystal travelled allot & lived life to the fullest. Please pray for the De La Torre family in Gilroy.

What for the presence of Dr. Jerry Hanson on a Santa Fe vacation with the Weimers some thirty yearsRead More ago, we'd have attended Leigh's services back then. Seems that the cocktail onion in his gibson got the best of him and it was only Jerry's quick and expert application of the Heimlich Maneuver (causing the onion to pop out very unceremoniously) that Leigh was able to continue on for several more decades. Very sad that we will never be able to share cocktails again with a most delightful friend. Peter S. Carter 45 Broadway

The rights I love? I beg to differ. I do not have the right to go into another country illegallyRead More and then commit crime. This would NOT be tolerated in many places, so why should it be tolerated here? I have no problem with people who come here legally, however I have a SERIOUS issue with those who come here illegally and then commit crimes on top of that!?! NO thank you!

I find it funny to that in this day and age we still label people as lesser equals! For instance aRead More black man was once considered 3/4 of a man an now an undocumented individual is called illegal. It makes me sick and it is funny because you all complain and cry about their presence but you have no problem using them. Cheap labor is cheap labor. I speak from my point of view and not on behalf of an entire people, but most of them want to just work and go home. The fact that they are undocumented keeps them here because the risk is to high to leave and try to come back. Try to think on a larger scale people are dying everyday trying to cross that border. Children are being ripped apart from their parents some even call it kidnapping, who is it helping? It irritates me that people always think Mexicans because it is the Mexican border but that is the border for the world people come to Mexico from everywhere to cross the border. A slap to the face? Do you have any idea how much time and money it costs to get a legal residency? Those sweat shop jobs don't pay nearly enough to what our minimum wage is. Reform is needed, not because of limited resources but because all human life deserves dignity. Why blame those who come here illegally when the reason they come is for work and it is illegal to hire undocumented workers. Hold the employers to some responsibility!
