SNAPSHOTS: Fast and Furious Air Show Awes Thousands
Jets, flying lawn mowers and stop signs, World War II bombers and the Starship Enterprise gave a bemused crowd of over 5,000 a show to remember over the weekend.
Over 5,000 spectators from all over the Bay Area turned out for the in Morgan Hill over the weekend.
Fliers from SCCMAS and other aeronautics clubs wowed the crowd with flips, turns and tricks. Jets reached speeds of over 120 miles per hour and spectators cheered on Snoopy as he took down the Red Baron.
World War II bombers simulated old dogfights and a lawn mower took to the sky, drawing amused chuckles from the crowd as it came close to shearing Skypark’s overgrown grass.

Attendees were also treated to flight lessons, where they learned how to fly aircraft with the guidance of professional hobbyists.
